Sundays 1.1 draw at Legoland proves why we're CHAMPIONS.
The mankie mob fielded what could be described as their strongest team, the Bears turned up minus Miller, Bougherra, Thomson, Mendes, Beasley, Naismith and lost Novo early doors.
Walter set out his side as he would have done in the nineties, knowing a draw would suffice with his much depleted sqaud and send their management team and fans home feeling defeated.
Again there are cries of conspiracy and agenda against them from the east end, but in reality they are not good enough. Sunday proved that they have a powder puff strikeforce, a crap defence ( 16 goals inferior) and the new Stillian Petrov in Barry Robson who goes to ground in a very uncanny fashion.
It also shows that Rangers are playing with the character required in a blue jersey and to come back after going a goal behind with 11 minutes remaining proves this . This character was not evident in the early part of the season but now seems to have been installed into the team since Walter and his staff announced they would be working with no contract.
Here's hoping the Lloyds group dont see the need to offload any of our current sqaud. Injuries and suspensions are now taking their toll which showed on Sunday with names like Wylde, Ness, Fleck and Little on the subs bench. No direspect to these youngsters but we need our strongest squad possible to finish the season on top.
