Neto - My Way - October 2009.
1. BORN AND BRED
HI fellow bluenoses welcome 2 my blog 2 u bluenoses who dont know neto born in chapelhall that wee place just over the flyover. The best thing about it was leaving, 2 many tims peter grant and co. Was adopted by holytown mods about 1980 Archie Hall, Wully Gunn, Ricky Hill, as time went on things went down hill i ended up meeting guys like beefy n smith, the rest is history people.
2. ART OF SELF DEFENCE
During my visits 2 holytown i seemed 2 be a easy target for the hard men of holytown i had 2 walk chapelhall once or twice after they stole my bus fair so i decided 2 join tae kwon do, 4years later i held a black belt and various titles including Felix O'Neils lightweight title that i am very proud of. oh aye and smithys superheavyweight title. The worst thing that happened was when big SCOTT MENZIES went 2 canada if ur reading this scott i haven,t had a decent fight since u left.
3.THE CHAIRMAN
One of my proudest achievments since crossing the border was my role as holytown colts coach and chairman. 2 be involved in such a great football club and 2 c all the kids develop is a fantastic thing. I stepped down as chairman in 2008 but i left the club in good hands JASON McCREADIE AND COMMITEE.
4. THE REF
Of all the hobbies 2 take up i went for the man in black. My eyes were opened from standing at the sidelines shouting abuse now iam the guy taking abuse. Believe me guys its a lot harder in the middle than u think asked big GILK. Refs only get one chance at a incident we dont have the luxury of tv.
5.THE GERS
I cant think of a better way of ending my blog than RANGERS i have been watching the gers since i was a boy of 8 how things change from 9 years with no title then9 in a row. too players like McCOIST, GOUGH,
LAUDRUP, MOLS, compare these players to current players and easy to c quality is not there anymore we have to be relistic now we used shop at m+s now we shop at farmfoods. under the current climate the club is under i think walter smith has done very well yes his tactics r hard 2 watch sometimes . But as with any team u have 2 play 2 ur strengths. the main thing is we all must support the club no matter what.
