Message from Scott Sleith - Fighting Fund Launched
Like most Gers fans i'm still a bit numb and extremely angry about recent events. I am going to keep things short and straight to the point as hopefully once we get back of our knees as a club we will have plenty to say.
There is now a gilmour of hope that our club may be saved from the liquidation, in other words death. Now that the players have ensured the club can survive till the end of season we can hopefully put the rest of the pieces into place.

Did You Know
Originally the motto was 'AYE WORK AWA', which was then changed to 'READY AYE READY', subsequently shortened to 'AYE READY' and finally in 1966 to 'READY'.
The change in 1966 was explained as being a modernising move, but in fact it was so that the badge could be legally incorporated.
Club News
After our recent AGM it has been agreed that bus will leave 1 hour before kick off.
This will be the case unless otherwise advised. The bus fees remain the same. Forthcoming events etc will be announced on this site at later dates.
A message from Scott.
As most of you will know a great man in BIlly Steele sadly passed away at the beginning on this year.
Billy was a great guy and the massive turn out for his funeral was testament to how much he was liked and respected by people of all walks of life.
Knowing BIlly for 24 years we were good friends and on behalf of everyone connected to our club I would like to say..BILLY STEELE..A TRUE BLUE...RIP
